Pakistan’s star fast bowler, Naseem Shah, has successfully concluded his rehabilitation following surgery on his right shoulder a few months ago.
Taking to Instagram, the 20-year-old right-arm pacer shared the latest update on his recovery from the injury, expressing gratitude to the medical team and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
“Today, I have finished my rehabilitation in England. I am sincerely grateful to the PCB for coordinating all of this,” Naseem wrote.
“I extend special thanks to my medical team, including Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed, Physios George Earl, and Adam Wright here in England, for their exceptional care,” he added.
Naseem Shah had suffered a shoulder injury during the Asia Cup, resulting in his exclusion from the remainder of the tournament. Unfortunately, this setback also ruled him out of participation in the 2023 World Cup.
Undergoing surgery in England, he successfully completed his recovery there. The absence of Naseem Shah was strongly felt in the team’s bowling lineup during the World Cup, contributing to the challenges faced by the squad.
