In a significant act for the country’s economic landscape, the National Economic Council (NEC) met and approved a development budget of Rs 2709 billion.
According to the information, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif presided over the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting, which approved a development budget of Rs 2709 billion. The federal government, on the other hand, plans to spend Rs 950 billion on development projects in the coming fiscal year.
In addition, the provincial administration plans to spend Rs 1559 billion on development projects in the coming fiscal year.
Meanwhile, one notable feature of the approved budget is the inclusion of public-private partnerships, with almost Rs 200 billion set aside for such initiatives. This collaborative strategy between government and private sector groups is expected to accelerate development activities and harness knowledge and resources to obtain the best possible results.
The cabinet division will receive a development budget of Rs 90 billion as part of a particular allocation. This investment will be critical in increasing the division’s capability and effectiveness.
Furthermore, the federation has been allocated a Rs 1150 billion development budget, indicating the government’s commitment to prioritizing vital sectors and tackling critical national requirements.
