On Monday, federal minister Javed Latif revealed that former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supreme leader Nawaz Sharif will return to the country in September.
While talking in a press conference in Lahore alongside party’s spokesperson Azma Bukhari, Latif said that the people of Pakistan are wishing for the return of the former prime minister.
He added that it was impossible to have a ‘level playing field’ in the country’s political landscape, in his absence.
Referring to Nawaz’s supporters as “doctors”, Latif said that “the people are his doctors and doctors change their opinion with time”.
