Netflix released the long-awaited teaser for the third season of You on Monday, revealing that it would air on October 15.
The teaser for the psychic mystery, which picked off the last series with Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) and Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti) anticipating their first child while Joe looks at the new neighbor, reveals the couple’s kid’s name against scenes of a cake being made.
According to the previous season and the new trailer, the show will take up with Joe and Love married and raising their son Henry as their lives unravel as a result of Joe’s fascination with the next-door neighbour and Love’s frightening knowledge of him.
The second season of You launched on Netflix in December 2019, with the third season set to broadcast in April 2021. However, owing to COVID-19 complications, the show’s premiere date has been moved back to autumn 2021. more info
Based on Caroline Kepnes’ novels of the same title, the program follows bookshop manager Goldberg as he transforms into a serial murderer throughout the course of the series, while still chasing ignorant love interests. It debuted on Netflix in December 2018, following a run on Lifetime.
Season 2 opened to positive reviews from fans and critics and followed Kepnes’ second book Hidden Bodies. It followed Joe from New York to Los Angeles, where he meets a new love interest, Love Quinn, who has secrets of her own.
