The National Highways Authority and Frontier Works Organization FWO have signed an agreement for the installation of an e-tolling system on motorways.
Asad Mahmood, Minister for Communications, who was chief guest at the signing ceremony, said this electronic tolling system would ensure smooth flow of traffic, save time, and speed up business activities.
He said it would also help in compiling accurate data on toll tax collection.
The agreement is valid for seven years.
