Imran Amin, the CEO of the Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA), has claimed that restoring the Ravi river is a major priority and that the Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) will soon be completed as well.
No housing scheme may be built inside or outside the Ravi River, and all current schemes are prohibited, according to a statement made by RUDA headquarters.
We have frequently given notice to illicit schemes, and we will soon start the operation, the CEO stated. The Sapphire Bay project is progressing quickly, he declared.
We will design the building here when the 3 km River Training Works is finished, and if necessary, the riverside housing project will be created in accordance with the master plan,” he continued.
A RUDA spokesman had dismissed as baseless the reports of obstruction in Supreme Court-related projects and claimed that there is no justification for any concerns with the Ravi Act modifications.
