The Ministry of Federal Education, in collaboration with the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), has launched a pioneering initiative to train a new generation of chip designers in Pakistan.
This program, designed to create a skilled workforce in the highly critical field of chip design, is a significant step forward for the country’s tech industry. Funded by the Ministry of Federal Education, the initiative will offer comprehensive training to a select group of students at NUST’s prestigious College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
The curriculum will encompass the latest advancements in chip design, focusing on system-on-chip (SoC) design, verification, and validation. This initiative is expected to play a crucial role in boosting Pakistan’s presence in the global technology landscape.
