The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Friday announced a reduction in the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) by Rs49 per kg for April.
In accordance with the notice made public by OGRA, the price of LPG has decreased by Rs. 49 per kg, while the domestic LPG cylinder has decreased in price by Rs. 576 and has been set at Rs. 2,702.
OGRA jacks up LPG prices
The price of the commercial cylinder has been fixed at Rs2,214 per kg.
The OGRA announced a rise in LPG prices and raised the sales tax on the domestic cylinder earlier in February.
The residential cylinder price was increased by Rs. 27 by the authority, and the sales tax was raised from 17% to 18%. The price was raised to Rs3.21 per kilogramme after raising the sales tax.
