Australian High Commissioner Neil Hawkins visited Finance Minister Ishaq Dar at Finance Division.
The two sides talked about the degree of current bilateral cooperation and shared ideas for fostering these ties and cooperation in the trade, economic, and investment sectors.
The ambassador expressed a desire to strengthen trade and investment relations even more. He informed the minister that Australia’s 15,000 Pakistani pupils and Pakistan’s 100,000-strong diaspora are vital to fostering relations between the two countries.
The high commissioner also praised the government’s plans and initiatives for social advancement and economic expansion. He said Australia desired to see Pakistan as a powerful, tranquil, and wealthy nation.
