According to a Ponemon Institute poll of 1,249 IT experts, 53 percent of businesses are unable or find it extremely difficult to avoid insider threats.
According to the report, more than half of businesses are unable to stop an insider assault in its early phases. Only 32% of respondents said their businesses can successfully prevent sensitive information from leaking.
15% of respondents feel that no one can fully control or be held accountable for personnel hazards.
Companies are frequently unaware of an insider danger until there is a data breach. According to experts, organizations must take a “human” approach to understand and identifying insider threats since humans are the risk.
