Since September 7, 2024, the Pakistan Army has delivered a strong response to unprovoked aggression by the Afghan Taliban at the Pak-Afghan border, resulting in the death of 16 Afghan Taliban fighters and injuries to 27 others.
According to security sources, the Afghan Taliban initiated unprovoked firing from the Palosin area, located near the Pak-Afghan border, using heavy weaponry to target Pakistani military posts. The firing continued until the evening of September 9.
In response, the Pakistan Army effectively retaliated, halting the aggression. Additionally, two Afghan Taliban tanks were destroyed during the exchange, further demonstrating the strength of Pakistan’s defense.
Security sources confirmed that the situation is now under control, and the Pakistan Army remains vigilant in safeguarding the border.
