The Pakistan-New Zealand test match ticket and transportation costs will be covered by the ministry of education for students, it was announced on Thursday.
In a letter to District education officers, the top advisor for curriculum reportedly instructed them to tell the headmasters of the schools in their respective districts.
According to the letter, students who wish to attend the match at the national stadium must provide their headmaster with a note with their name on it.
The information on the students who will watch the game in the stadium will subsequently be given by the district education officers.
The student should also wear their school uniform when they watch the test match between Pakistan and New Zealand.
The New Zealand team arrived in Pakistan earlier for the start of a historic Test series that will begin on December 26 at the National Bank Cricket Arena.
The Test in Karachi, which will start on December 26, will be the first between Pakistan and New Zealand on the former nation’s soil in 20 years.
