RAWALPINDI: Pakistan armed forces are always ready to defend the homeland and are aware of their responsibilities, said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR)
Reacting to the questions being raised on the war operations of Pakistan armed forces, the ISPR said the forces are fully equipped with the latest war weapons which is always on standby.
The ISPR noted that the statement of the former chief of army staff General (retired) Qamar Javed Bajwa was taken out of context and questions were raised on the armed forces’ combat capabilities.
We assure the masses that Pakistan’s armed forces are always ready for the defense of the homeland and ready to deal with any challenge to ensure the country’s sovereignty.
The statement comes after journalist Hamid Mir claimed in a TV show that General (retd) Bajwa in a meeting (unverified) with 20-25 journalists spoke about the capacity of Pakistan Armed Forces.
