The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced the conclusion of the “On Job Training of Royal Saudi Land Forces with Pakistan Army” in Multan, as stated in a released statement on Tuesday.
The training, conducted from January 15 to February 26, aimed to strengthen joint employment capabilities and mutual learning between the forces, further solidifying the enduring fraternal relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
The military’s media wing noted that the training covered both conventional and sub-conventional operations, culminating in field maneuvers and battle inoculation exercises involving air and ground forces.
During the exercise, the Commander Multan Corps, acting as the Chief Guest, observed the proceedings and expressed satisfaction with the achieved training standards and mutual understanding.
In addition, an earlier joint exercise by the Pakistan Army and the Royal Saudi Land Force took place in Muzaffargarh this month. The training provided a platform for aligning forces, exchanging expertise, and enhancing military capabilities through experimentation.
Both forces actively participated in various training activities, including Combined Battle PT, Small Scale Operations, Room Clearance, Close Marksmanship, Firing, and Rappelling. Advanced exercises involving Cobra helicopters created a war-like atmosphere, with intensive training on helicopter mounting and dismounting in the context of counter-terrorism efforts.
The joint exercise aimed at contributing to regional counter-terrorism efforts and fostering a positive step towards achieving peace.
