After a terrible earthquake that struck Syria and Turkey, the Pakistani Army sent two contingents the Urban Search and Rescue Team to help with relief efforts in Turkey on the orders of COAS General Syed Asim Munir.
According to details, the Army squads include rescue specialists, sniffer dogs to detect explosives, a medical team composed of Army doctors, nurses, and technicians, as well as a mobile hospital with 30 beds.
Additionally, the teams are transporting supplies for the Turkiye earthquake victims, such as tents, blankets, and other items.
The relief teams have taken special PAF aircraft to Adana, Turkey, where they will cooperate closely with the Turkish government, armed forces, and embassy in Islamabad to provide aid to the Turkish people.

The contingents will remain there until all relief and rescue efforts have been completed.
Meanwhile, by PAF C-130, the Chairman of the NDMA Lt. Gen. Inam Haider Malik sent three tonnes of emergency assistance supplies to Turkey and Syria.
In a statement, Chairman NDMA Lt Gen Inam Haider Malik said NDMA Team along with Pakistan Armed Forces and Federal stakeholders is in constant communication with the diplomatic channels at both ends.
