On Saturday, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir reiterated the preparedness of the armed forces to counter any threats against Pakistan.
During his visit to Khairpur Tamewali to observe the field exercise of the Bahawalpur Corps, COAS Munir emphasized the military’s awareness of challenges and its commitment to defending the nation’s territorial integrity.
COAS Munir, briefed on the field exercise aimed at enhancing professional skills and battlefield procedures, witnessed integrated fire and battle maneuvers involving various elements, including armour, mechanized infantry, artillery, air defense, and anti-tank guided missiles. The exercise was supported by the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and Combat Aviation.
Interacting with the troops, COAS Munir praised their training standards, operational readiness, and high morale. He directed them to continue serving the nation with traditional zeal and passion under all circumstances. The army chief’s visit showcased the commitment of the Pakistan Armed Forces to maintaining readiness and addressing potential threats to national security.
