Babar Azam-led Pakistan becomes the first team in history to take 13 wickets to win on the last scheduled day of a 5-day Test match.
Sajid Khan spun a web around Bangladesh as Pakistan powered their way to an innings and 8-run win in Dhaka after bowling out the hosts for 205 on the last day of the rain-marred second Test.
Captain Babar Azam, desperate for a series sweep, didn’t hesitate to force the follow-on. Pakistan had won the first Test by eight wickets. Pakistan’s win is remarkable as the third session on Day 1 was washed out, only 6.2 overs were bowled on Day 2 and no play was possible on Day 3 due to rain in Dhaka.
Pakistan did not give up after declaring their first innings at 300 for 4 on Day 4 as Sajid Khan recorded their fourth-best figures in Test cricket (8/42) to bowl Bangladesh out for 87 in the first essay.
And with that Paksitan Men Cricket Team made another record in the history of cricket. Pakistan becomes the first team to win a 5-day test match on the last scheduled day by taking 13 Wickets of the opposing team.
