Rejecting the recent hike in PoL prices by the federal government, the Pakistan Goods Transport Alliance on Sunday announced to ‘resist’ the decision.
The current government should be replaced, according to Malik Shahzad Awan, president of the Pakistan Goods Transport Alliance, because it is now difficult for them to operate their businesses in this inflation.
We will ‘resist’ the decision and devise a strategy in this context, Malik Shahzad Awan said in his statement.
Shaukat Tarin sees further increase in fuel prices
It is important to note that Ishaq Dar, the finance minister, raised the price of petrol and fuel by 35 rupees per litre on Sunday.
Ishaq Dar claimed during a televised address that the price of petroleum goods had increased by 11% on the international market.
Dar also announced an increase of Rs. 18 per litre in the price of light fuel and kerosene.
