The Netherlands held the tenth session of bilateral political negotiations between Pakistan and the Netherlands.
Both the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs Secretary General Paul Huijts and the Pakistani Foreign Secretary Dr. Asad Majeed Khan headed their respective sides.
The consultations covered the full spectrum of bilateral relations as well as significant regional and global problems.
Both sides agreed to strengthen their engagement in a number of areas, including politics, economics, trade and investment, climate change, agriculture, water management, dairy, and livestock, as well as education and culture. They also expressed satisfaction over the momentum in their bilateral cooperation.
The Foreign Secretary invited Dutch businesses to benefit from Pakistan’s liberal investment system by highlighting the importance of the Netherlands as one of Pakistan’s top trading partners in the European Union.
