Pakistan Pavilion Wins ‘Silver Award’ for Interior Design at Expo 2020 Dubai

An international jury called to select the best pavilion at the Expo 2020 Dubai has awarded the Silver Award to Pakistan for interior design out of 192 pavilions, Pakistani commerce chief Abdul Razak Dawood said on Thursday.

The Pakistan pavilion received the BURJ CEO Award for “Best Pavilion Exterior Design” last week.
Since its opening in October of last year, the Pakistan pavilion has had over one million visitors.

“Out of 192 Pavilions, an international jury was convened to pick the finest Pavilion for Expo 2020, and Pakistan received the Silver Award for Interior Design.” The response has been amazing, and the Pavilion has already surpassed the 1 million [visitors] milestone, well beyond our expectations,” Dawood wrote on Twitter.

He thanked Pakistan’s creative team and embassy in the UAE for showcasing the country’s culture at the pavilion.
