Pakistan is planning to acquire FC-31 stealth fighter jets, developed by China’s Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), according to reports.
The FC-31 is a single-seat, twin-engine, medium fighter comparable to the US’ F-35. If inducted into the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), these stealth fighter jets would significantly enhance the PAF’s capabilities and open up international markets for Chinese aircraft.
The FC-31 boasts strong air combat capabilities, including stealth advantages for superior situational awareness and the ability to carry various munitions, making it a formidable addition to Pakistan’s fleet. The move aligns with Pakistan’s efforts to modernize its air force.
