According to a source on Tuesday, the Pakistani polo team earned a spot in Zone E of the World Polo Championship of the Federation of International Polo (FIP).
From October 26 to November 6, 2022, the competition will take place at the National Polo Center in Wellington, US.
In a short period of time, the Pakistani polo team beat the Indian squad twice. At the Innada Polo Club in Johannesburg, South Africa, Pakistan defeated India in the opening round by a score of 5-4.
At the East Rand Polo Club in Johannesburg, Pakistan defeated India in the second playoff game, 7-3, by a score of four goals.
The Pakistan Polo team comprises of team manager Brigadier (retd) Bader-Uz-Zaman, assistant team managar Lieutenant Colonel Ayaz Ahmed, team captain Raja Sami Ullah, Hamza Mawaz, Temur Nadeem and Raja Muhammad Mekiyal Sami.
