The Tezgam Express is renowned as the oldest and most popular train service in Pakistan, covering a distance of 1,548 kilometers in approximately 25 hours and 30 minutes.
The train offers various accommodation options, including economy class (Rs 3,350), economy berth (Rs 3,450), AC business (Rs 7,600), AC standard (Rs 5,700), and AC sleeper (Rs 10,000).
The newly introduced dining car on the Tezgam Express can accommodate 35 passengers and will offer a diverse menu featuring over 40 food items, including soups, burgers, pizza, karahi, sandwiches, paratha rolls, French fries, and biryani, as reported by the Associated Press of Pakistan, citing the PR spokesperson.
This initiative follows the successful introduction of a premium lounge dining car on the Bahauddin Zakaria Express, signaling further expansion and improvement in passenger services by Pakistan Railways.
