Beginning on June 1, 2023, Pakistan Railways (PR) will restart the Bahauddin Zakaria Express between Multan and Karachi.
The Bahauddin Zakaria Express will leave Multan and Karachi at the same time. After nine months, the passenger train has been repaired.
Pakistan Railway (PR) ceased operations after the floods of the previous year devastated the railway track.
Earlier, Pakistan Railways’ Chief Executive Officer (CEO) told the National Assembly’s Railway Committee that the company had incurred $500 billion in infrastructure losses as a result of the country’s devastating floods.
