In a gesture of peace, Pakistan has released 66 Afghan prisoners from the Sindh province prison.
According to the Afghan Consulate General in Karachi, all of the released convicts have returned home.
According to the report, 56 of the prisoners were released from Karachi’s Malir Prison, eight from the Children’s Prison, and two from the Khairpur District jail.
The detainees were taken to Afghanistan via the Chaman border crossing, with the government covering the travel costs.
