On Monday, Pakistan dispatched its third shipment of relief supplies to support the Palestinians facing siege in Gaza. The consignment, weighing over 20 tonnes, was airlifted by a special Pakistan Air Force flight dedicated to aiding the besieged population.
Comprising crucial items such as surgical and medical supplies, dry food essentials, and gift bags for children, the relief package is intended to alleviate the hardships faced by the people of Gaza. The aid will be transported to the city of Arish in Egypt, where the Pakistani ambassador will receive the goods before they are sent for distribution in Gaza.
Before the departure of the flight, a media briefing took place at Noor Khan Airbase, with the presence of the Caretaker Foreign Minister, the Ambassador of Palestine to Pakistan, officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Armed Forces officers.
During the briefing, Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani condemned Israel’s use of force, highlighting the importance of humanitarian aid and a ceasefire in Gaza.
