Pakistan’s Poomsae team showcased exceptional talent and athleticism, securing a bronze medal in the over 30 event category at the Asian Taekwondo Championship held in Da Nang, Vietnam.
The national players, including Shehbaz Ahmed, Mudassar Hussain, and Muhammad Mumtaz, demonstrated outstanding performance to clinch victory.
Iran claimed the gold medal with 8.182 points, while Vietnam secured the silver with 7.630 points. Pakistan and Chinese Taipei shared the bronze medal with 7.583 and 7.533 points, respectively.
Master Seongoh Choi, the poomsae coach of the Pakistan national team, praised the athletes for utilizing their full potential to secure a place on the victory stand against tough competitors. He expressed confidence in the team’s ability to achieve more success in future competitions.
