Pakistan on Wednesday rejected “baseless and frivolous” allegations made by the Indian External Affairs Minister, saying that his latest tirade was a reflection of growing frustration over India’s failure to malign and isolate Pakistan.
The spokesperson for the Foreign Office stated that India had been engaged in a malevolent campaign to mislead the international community for the past few years through a false narrative of victimhood and vile anti-Pakistan propaganda in response to media inquiries regarding a number of recent statements made by the Indian FM targeting Pakistan.
“This practice must stop. India’s continued anti-Pakistan diatribe could not hide its brazen involvement in fomenting terrorism on Pakistan’s soil; nor can it conceal the reality of state-sponsored terrorism in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).”
“Instead of pointing fingers at others, India should itself end its involvement in terrorism, subversion, and espionage against Pakistan,” the statement said.
FO Rejects reports of Shutting Down Pakistan Embassy In Kabul
The FO spokesperson added that Pakistan has made public a dossier containing irrefutable evidence linking India to the 2021 terrorist attack in a peaceful Lahore neighborhood.
The Samjhota Express incident in 2007, which caused the deaths of over 40 Pakistani nationals, and the 2016 arrest of Kulbhushan Jadhav, a serving Indian Navy Commander, inside Pakistan, both provide irrefutable evidence of India’s involvement in terrorism and sabotage.
