Rana Mashhood Ahmed, the Chairman of the Prime Minister’s National Youth Program, has unveiled plans to establish an e-gaming organization aimed at providing a platform for the six to seven million youth involved in the billion-dollar gaming industry to showcase their talents.
Speaking at a press conference, Mashhood outlined the government’s initiatives to nurture talent across the nation. These include organizing training camps and sports competitions throughout the country to identify and promote the best talent.
Additionally, Mashhood announced the introduction of the “Pakistan Endowment Fund Scholarships program,” modeled after the successful Punjab Endowment Fund, to assist students nationwide.
Furthermore, the Chairman revealed plans to expand the scope of the national youth loan scheme and offer IT courses to empower young individuals with skills that can enhance their employability.
Mashhood emphasized the pivotal role of sectors such as agriculture, IT, and skill development in driving economic growth. He highlighted the government’s commitment to strengthening these sectors through short and mid-term planning strategies.
