Pakistan and Hungary two countries encouraged to start trade in various fields and joint projects including oil projects, information technology and tourism.
Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto confirmed that Hungary’s major companies related to food, technology, medical, and information technology sectors are looking to invest in Pakistan.
In a video connection, foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and his counterpart Peter Szijjarto from Hungary launched the Hungary-Pakistan Trade & Economic Window and the first bilateral Business Forum while initiating important moves forward for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in terms of economic diplomacy.
Minister Qureshi stated that the second meeting to host Pakistan-Hungary Joint Economic Commission will be held soon. He further added that strengthening the relations with Hungary can increase trade volume between both of the countries.
He claimed that the Agricultural University of Hungary was in contact with the Pakistan’s Agriculture Council to help bilateral food security cooperation.
