Ataturk-XII 2023, a two-week joint exercise between Pakistan and Turkey, got underway at Tarbela on Monday.
The drill, which aims to improve counterterrorism methods, is being participated in by troops from the Pakistani Special Service Group and the Turkish Special Force.
The exercise will focus on compound and cave clearance, sniper training, countering improvised explosive devices, and combat medical care.
It will further strengthen the two nations’ military ties.
