On Thursday, caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar stated that Pakistan is focusing on its own interests rather than taking sides in a great power dispute.
In an interview with the Washington Post, he stated that Pakistan is charting a route to avoid getting involved in the global race for power.
PM Kakar stated that Pakistan plans to remain “neutral” in Russia’s conflict with Ukraine and refuted reports that it has sent weaponry to Kyiv. He sees China as an “all-weather friend” and “strategic partner” for the United States. He stated that Pakistan has no intention of joining either side in the growing US-China competition.
According to Anwaarul Haq Kakar, Pakistan paid a huge price for collaborating with the West against the Soviet Union and again after 9/11. He claimed that the West treated Pakistan unfairly during the last thirty years.
The premier was in the United States for the UNGA session.
Earlier, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar warned the world to wake up because Hindutva was growing beyond its geographical bounds and might affect Western nations such as North America, Canada, and Europe.
Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar told reporters in London that the “disease” Hindutva was spreading beyond the area. He claimed that the Hindutva worldview desired minorities to live as second-class citizens rather than full citizens.
