Pakistan won the Over 60’s Cricket World Cup in Australia on Wednesday after defeating New Zealand in the championship game.
Pakistan’s SM Kazmi and Mohammad Aslam demonstrated strong dedication to help their team cross the finish line as they were tasked with chasing 174 runs in 45 overs.
The two batters each produced a half-century to help Pakistan win by three wickets.
Kazmi remained not out for 71 runs whereas Aslam made 70 runs to help Pakistan lift the trophy. New Zealand had earlier accumulated 173-9 in 45 overs.
