Egypt has green-lighted the Pakistani 10 Slaughterhouses for the export of Pakistani Meat, this progress came after Jordan okayed 3 Pakistani Slaughterhouses for the Import of meat from Pakistan.
Adviser to the Prime Minister Imran Khan on Investment and Commerce Abdul Razak Dawood said today (November 19):
“Egypt’s Veterinary Quarantine Department okayed Pakistani 10 slaughterhouses for meat export. This has been done as a result of audit conducted by the Egyptian Veterinary authorities. This is a part of our policy of geographical & product diversification. Our exporters are urged to go full speed ahead to capitalize on this opportunity as this sector has immense potential.”
The 10 Slaughterhouses okayed by the Egypt are as such: P.K Live Stock&Meat Company Private Limited, TATA Best Food Limited, Fauji Meat Limited, Al Shaheer Corporation LTD, The Organic Meat Company, Tazij Meat and Food, Abedin International Abattoirs and Zenith Associates.
Previously on October 28, Adviser to the Prime Minister Imran Khan on Investment and Commerce Razak Dawood had announced that Jordan has green-lighted three Pakistani slaughterhouses to export meat to the Middle Eastern country.
“MOC [Ministry of Commerce] is glad to inform that Jordan has notified three of Pakistan’s slaughterhouses for export of bovine, sheep, goat & camel meat to Jordan.” Adviser to the Prime Minister Imran Khan on Investment and Commerce Razak Dawood Tweeted.
The Prime Minister Imran Khan’s aide urged exporters to “take advantage of the opportunities offered by this non-traditional market for meat and to seek other sectors like potato, mango, kinnows & onions to diversify exports from Pakistan.”
