Pakistani Ambassador Confirmed the death of a Pakistani child in the hefty warehouse blast in Beirut. The death toll rised to 137 as 5000 people are reported to be injured. Najeeb Durrani confirmed that, one Pakistani family was affected in the Beirut blast struck 4th August, 2020. “A 14-year old child died and four of his family members were badly injured from the explosion.”
Furthermore, the Pakistani Ambassador added that all four injured are said to be out of danger and that no other Pakistani family was harmed in the horrible incident. According to a report, the Lebanese rescue teams hauled the bodies out and hunted for missing in the wreckage caused by the Blast. More than 5,000 people were injured in the explosion at Beirut port. Health Minister Hamad Hassan updated the situation after the blast 250,000 people were left homeless.
The blast was so destructive and powerful that its after shockwaves smashed everything. In an address to the nation during President Aoun said: No words can describe the horror that has hit Beirut last night, turning it into a disaster-stricken city and we are sorry for the families who lost their loved ones.
