Usman Wazeer, a boxer from Pakistan, won the World Youth Title Fight, which was held in Bangkok, Thailand.
The 22-year-old professional boxer knocked out Thai rival Somput Seesa in the sixth round to win the title, held under the wings of the World Boxing Organization (WBO).
Wazeer made boxing history by being the first Pakistani to ever win the world championship.
Pakistan entered the under-23 division for the first time as well.
The well-known fighter, a native of Gilgit-Baltistan, is also the current Asian Boxing Federation Welterweight champion.
