The first-ever Pakistan-Oman Expo in Muscat has successfully concluded, marking a milestone event for both nations. Pakistani companies sealed export deals worth millions of dollars across various sectors, including textiles, sports equipment, food products, and pharmaceuticals. These agreements are set to significantly boost Pakistan’s export market and strengthen trade relations with Oman.
The expo attracted more than 1,000 Omani business leaders, who showed great interest in the diverse array of products showcased by 64 Pakistani companies. These businesses represented ten distinct industries, highlighting the quality and variety of Pakistani exports. The event featured both Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) sessions, providing companies with opportunities to forge valuable connections. Presentations and discussions were also held to explore new avenues for expanding trade between the two countries, with strong backing from Omani officials.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Oman, Imran Ali, emphasized the significance of this expo in reinforcing economic ties between the two nations. He noted that this is not a one-time event, but the beginning of what is expected to become an annual tradition, further enhancing the economic partnership between Pakistan and Oman.
