The new “stars” feature on Facebook would allow Pakistani content creators to make money, according to an announcement made on Saturday by Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
The “important news” was announced in a video message that the FM posted from the Meta headquarters, the parent corporation of Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
According to the minister, Pakistani creators can now monetize their Facebook content thanks to the new function, and “the more stars they obtain, the more money they would earn.” FM Bilawal wished for “the youth of Pakistan in particular” to use social media more effectively.
For Pakistan’s qualifying creators, Meta launched Facebook Stars, its newest monetization tool, to help them connect with their audiences and grow their businesses.
According to a statement from the multinational internet company, Facebook Stars will enable fans to mail and purchase digital items to assist producers, check the income by type of content produced by Pakistani content providers, manage their goals, and access other Stars settings. Facebook Reels, Facebook Live, on-demand videos, photographs, and text postings all support the feature.
