A senior Pakistani endocrinologist, Dr. Syed Abbas Raza, has been named a recipient of the esteemed 2025 Laureate Award by the Endocrine Society. Dr. Raza, a consultant endocrinologist and physician at Shaukat Khanum Hospital and Research Centre in Lahore, is one of 14 leading endocrinologists globally selected for this honor.
The Laureate Award recognizes exceptional contributions to endocrinology, particularly in regions with limited resources for hormone health research, education, clinical practice, or administration. Dr. Raza’s work has been acknowledged for its significant impact on advancing the field.
