A Pakistani man has done a great job as he has translated the Holy Quran into his own Potohari language.
In four years, Raja Sharif Shad, a resident of Gujar Khan, translated the Holy Quran into Potohari. According to him, the goal of this translation project is to make the Holy Quran understandable for Potohari speakers.
Talking to a news outlet, Shad stated that Allah Almighty selected him for the position. He stated, “Four and a half years ago on Ramadan’s 27th, I began interpreting the Holy Quran. I was able to finish the translation in Rabiul Awwal, as I had hoped.
Recalling his journey, Shad said he first looked for an Urdu translation of the Holy Quran and then started translating that Urdu into Potohari.
Religious scholar Sheikh Anwar-ul-Haq praised Shad for his effort.
