ISLAMABAD: Pakistani IT professionals are actively participating in the Global AI Summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from September 10 to 12, 2024. The summit, focused on advancements in artificial intelligence, brings together global experts to discuss innovation and industry trends shaping the future of AI.
The event aligns with Pakistan’s efforts to boost IT exports and attract foreign investment to strengthen its economy. Last month, Pakistan hosted its own IT and telecom festival, with over 750 local and international companies participating.
Notable Pakistani experts Yasar Ayaz and Shoaib Ur Rehman shared their insights on “Inclusive Tech Solutions” during the summit. Both have contributed significantly to Pakistan’s IT sector, particularly in promoting IT education and digital innovation.
On September 9, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between DS Technology Services (USA) and Islamabad-based Zeki Expert Solutions at the Pakistan Embassy in Riyadh.
Pakistan’s government has set an ambitious target of $25 billion in IT exports and established four special technology zones to support this goal.
