In the Para Table Tennis competition of the Islamic Solidarity Games, Pakistan’s Altaf-ur-Rehman won a bronze medal.
After losing to a considerably better opponent in the semi-finals of the Para Table Tennis competition, he went on to win a bronze medal. Altaf-ur-Rehman, a Pakistani player, made his international debut and put on an excellent display.
In a team match against an Uzbek player in the Para Table Tennis competition at the Konya Games 2022, he won the bronze medal.
Pakistan now has two medals from the Islamic Solidarity Games 2022 after Altaf-ur-Rehman won a bronze medal. Arshad Nadeem, a gold medalist athlete, had previously won the Javelin Throw event at the Islamic Solidarity Games.
