Pakistan MMA players secure 1 silver and 1 bronze medal in the Asian Pacific MMA Championship 2022 that is being held in Pattaya, Thailand from 9-13 November 2022.
Pakistani athletes Asim Khan secure the silver medal and Shahzeib Khan secure the Bronze medal.
The team consisted of Asiam Khan, Shahzeib Khan, Liaqat Ali, and Hamza Khan.
Earlier, Asim Khan defeated India’s Hevish Reddy in the first round.
Asim Khan will face Kazakhstan’s Musab Yernaz in the final, in 61kg category.
The Mixed Martial Arts Championship 2022 will continue till November 13 in Pattaya, Thailand.
President of Pakistan Mixed Martial Arts Federation Zulfiqar Ali congratulated the young team on winning medals for the country. He also wished them the best of luck for future events and was hopeful that these young players will make the nation proud in the future as well.
