Fida Hussain Baloch, a Pakistani athlete, brought honor to her country by winning the Asian Bodybuilding Championship in Kyrgyzstan.
Baloch, a member of the WAPDA Sports Board, defeated an Indian opponent in the 90-kg division to claim the “Mr Asia” crown in the mega league. The athlete also took home a silver medal in the open division.
Ten Pakistani bodybuilders participated in the event’s 14 different competitions, and five of them were successful in winning medals.
Baloch received congratulations from President Arif Alvi for helping Pakistan and the Elite pro-card win the big championship.

Shahid Afridi, a Pakistani cricketer, also praised Fida Hussain Baloch for upholding his country’s honor.
Baloch was supported for the event by the cricketer’s non-profit organization, the Shahid Afridi Foundation.
