Haider Ali Rizwan, a rising star from Pakistan, surpassed all other U-16 tennis players in Asia after the Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) revealed its most recent rankings on Monday.
The top-ranked Asian tennis player in the Under-16 division is LGS Paragon student Haider Ali Rizwan. In the U-16 ATF Junior Tennis Tour Ranking, Haider is the first Pakistani player to hold the top spot.
He expressed gratitude to his parents, coach Muhammad Khalid, and well-wishers for this fantastic accomplishment and promised to put in more effort to win more honors for the nation at the ATF and ITF levels.
With 965 points, Haider, who just won the ATF 16&Under Tennis Tour 2022 Leg-1 doubles title, took the top spot. Asim Bilal, another emerging star from Pakistan, is ranked ninth overall.
In addition, Haider earned two gold medals, one bronze medal, and two silver medals in Tajikistan in July and two silver medals at the Asian competition in Uzbekistan.
