The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) unveiled the official kit for the Pakistan cricket team ahead of the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 during a ceremony held on Monday.
The new “Matrix Jersey” was showcased by Pakistan’s white-ball captain, Babar Azam, alongside senior players such as Shaheen Shah Afridi, Mohammad Rizwan, and others.
A video shared by the PCB on its social media platform featured players like Saim Ayub, Naseem Shah, and Babar, engaging in drills while donning the new jersey that the team will wear during the ICC event.
Pakistan finds itself in Group A of the World Cup, alongside India, Ireland, Canada, and co-hosts the United States.
Ahead of the tournament, the Pakistan team is scheduled to depart for Ireland tomorrow to begin their preparations for the T20I series against the host team.
The series will consist of three T20I matches in Ireland, followed by four in England. Subsequently, Pakistan will travel to the United States to compete in the T20 World Cup.
The initial squad of 18 players announced for the Ireland and England T20Is will be trimmed down to 15 players for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 after the first T20I against England on May 22.
