Pakistan’s Naltar Valley is developing into the world’s next skiing hub, as skiers from around the world join winter sports competition.
Winter sports competitions are being held in Naltar Valley, Gilgit Baltistan these include skiing, ice hockey and ice skating Sports.
Winter sports are organized by Pakistan Air Force in Naltar valley in Gilgit Baltistan. It is first ski resort in Pakistan, developed in 1958. Recently, foreigners have also started coming to Pakistan, to participate in these winter sports.
Located in the Karakoram Range, Naltar has an altitude of 10,500 feet above sea level. The national winter competitions include skiing, ice hockey and ice skating Sports. These events are organized at the resort every winter.
