As of December 15, 2023, Pakistan’s total liquid foreign reserves reached US$12,068.4 million, with the central bank’s reserves standing at $6,904.8 million, according to a statement by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
During the week under review, SBP’s reserves experienced a decrease of $136 million, attributed to debt repayments. Concurrently, commercial banks maintained net foreign reserves of $5,163.6 million.
In the previous week, ending on December 08, 2023, the total liquid foreign reserves were $12,206.4 million, with the central bank holding $7,040.8 million, and commercial banks having net foreign reserves of $5,165.6 million.
