13 medals have been won by Pakistani athletes in the third Mount Everest Open Taekwondo International Championship, which is taking place in Nepal.
The team from the cricket-loving nation competed in the Poomsae and Kyorugi events and won five gold, three silver, and fifteen bronze medals.
In the U40 Pair and U40 Male Individual categories, Shahbaz and Mehru became the gold medalists.
Shahzaib retained his victory in the 54 kg division by defeating Aman Kumar of India to win the gold. Hamzah earned a medal in the 87kg division, while Mazhar Abbas triumphed in the 80kg division.
In addition to Waseem, Naila, Mehru, Haroon Tareen, and Arbaz Khan, other athletes also excelled and took home silver medals.
Naila won the medal in the U30 Female category for bronze, followed by Waseem and Flower in the U30 Pair category, Naqsh Hamdani in the 53kg category, and Noor Rahman in the 57kg category.
