Passport fee schedule 2023: Pakistan increases e-passport fee

The Directorate of Immigration and Passports has increased the fee schedule for the issuance of e-passports within the country. 

The revised fee notification says that the standard fee for a 36-page, 5 electronic passport is Rs. 9,000, and the urgent fee is Rs. 15,000.

While a normal charge for a 36-page, 10-year electronic passport is Rs13,500 and the urgent fee is Rs22,000.

Similarly, the regular rate for a normal 72-page electronic passport with a 5-year validity is Rs. 16,500, while the normal fee for a normal 72-page electronic passport with a 10-year validity is Rs. 24,750, while the typical fee for an urgent edition is Rs. 40,500.

A fee schedule for the official, ordinary, and diplomatic categories was published.

Moreover, in the first stage, the e-passports will be issued only from the federal capital Islamabad. The date for the launching of the service from other cities of the country will be announced later.
